The Stage6 Racing MKII 70cc Cylinder Kit is the successor to the popular Stage6 70cc racing cylinder, completely redesigned for enhanced out-of-the-box performance. Designed for 50cc scooters with Piaggio AC engines, such as Piaggio Typhoon, TPH, or Gilera Stalker.

Cylinder Design & Features

• High-strength hard chrome bore plating for durability
• 6 transfer ports (instead of 5) for improved cylinder filling
• Domed piston with 0.8 mm piston ring for optimized performance and heat dissipation
• Generous bridged exhaust port flushing, pentagonal design, and internal cooling ribs
• One-piece cylinder head with cast scavenging canals
• Port timings: 190°–130°

Performance

• Produces 17–19 hp out of the box, 2–3 hp more than the MK1
• Enough material for further tuning, potentially exceeding 20 hp
• Recommended setup: reinforced crankshaft, min. 21mm carburetor, racing exhaust

Installation Tips

• Clean engine thoroughly and check all components
• Use new spark plug and small end bearing
• Adjust carburetor settings as needed
• Squish clearance: 0.75–0.85 mm
• Run-in: approx. 300 km with 1:33 mixture for durability
• Note: Original exhausts cannot be mounted
• Without homologation in some countries
