Stage6 R1200 RACE Exhaust – Piaggio

Stage6 R1200 RACE exhaust system for Piaggio engines, developed for powerful 70cc sport and racing cylinder setups. Like its larger counterpart, the R1400, the R1200 is hand-welded and constructed from 9 individually welded cones – a feature typically found only on significantly more expensive high-end racing exhausts. It is equipped with a lightweight genuine carbon silencer and delivers an authentic racing look.

In terms of performance, the R1200 is ideally suited for high-performance 70cc racing cylinders such as the Stage6 MKII, the Malossi MHR Racing and the Polini Evolution. It delivers extremely strong power and torque, even for a racing exhaust. Compared to the R1400, the effective power band is slightly lower in the RPM range, making it more suitable for circuit racing rather than pure drag racing. Compared to the already powerful Stage6 PRO, the R1200 provides approximately 2 hp more and shifts the optimal power band upward by around 1,500 rpm, resulting in a noticeable increase in top speed.

The exhaust is delivered in raw, untreated steel without paint or coating – a deliberate choice for a true racing finish. To prevent corrosion, it is strongly recommended to apply protective oil or high-temperature paint before use.

Please note that this exhaust cannot be used in combination with jack-up kits. For air-cooled (AC) models, it is not compatible with older, wider fanwheel covers. The exhaust is designed for Piaggio engines such as the Piaggio Zip, Piaggio Typhoon, Piaggio NRG and Aprilia SR Motard, among others.
